7th Annual Land Bank Conference

The annual Land Bank conference attracts professionals involved with land banks such as: land bank staff and board of directors, for-profit and nonprofit developers, community foundations, real estate, greening initiatives, neighborhood revitalization, staff members from local and state government and elected officials.

Sunday, October 14, 2012 – Tuesday, October 16, 2012

If America’s cities and towns are to realize their greatest potential as attractive and welcoming – as drivers of the new American economy – they must be able to repurpose their vacant, abandoned, and foreclosed properties. A critical approach to this mission is the development of land banks: public authorities created to efficiently acquire, hold, manage and develop tax foreclosed property.

Whether you hail from an urban land bank, rural county government, a for-profit developer or anywhere in between, we invite you to present your successes, ideas, and expertise at the 2012 Land Bank Conference. We take pride in our strong educational content and the variety of sessions that we offer. We are looking for beginning, intermediate, and advanced proposals to accommodate each education level, targeted toward daily operations or overlying strategies of land banking.
