Center for Urban Pedagogy, Hester Street Collaborative, Urban Justice Center

In the summer of 2013, the Center for Urban Pedagogy, Hester Street Collaborative, and the Community Development Project at the Urban Justice Center in New York City organized a conference focused on how collaboration between community organizations can “yield fresh ideas, new approaches, and powerful results.” The conference program reveals the sometimes unexpected alliances that have led to significant headway on a variety of equity issues in New York.
