RECAP: Issue 22 Launch Party!

Next American City hosted the Issue 22 Launch Party in NYC last week and we met over 150 supporters of the magazine!

Next American City celebrated the launch of Issue 22 by throwing a party in New York City on March 5 at the AIA Center for Architecture! The nearly 150 guests who attended – some loyal supporters, some new friends – enjoyed food, drinks and great conversation. Editor/Publisher Diana Lind recapped the highlights from the new issue, including features on the financial crisis’s effects on American cities, municipal biodiesel programs around the country, an enormous swirling trash heap in the Pacific Ocean and transportation enthusiasts’ who are taking transit maps into their own hands. Plus interviews with Cary Moon, Richard Saul Wurman and Roope Mokka. Special guest Seth Pinsky shared some updates on NYC’s current financial situation.
