Join Chicago visual artist and cultural planner Theaster Gates, co-creator of red, black & GREEN: a blues, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design for a lively discussion on arts and public life. Trained as a multi-modal artist and an urban planner, Gates is now fostering new connections at the University of Chicago, where he is leading efforts to enable collaboration and conversation between the civic, cultural, and artistic communities of Chicago. Admission is free, but registration is requested. Co-sponsored by Penn IUR.
