Author Daniel Brook will join readers at Next City’s Storefront for Urban Innovation to discuss A History of Future Cities. Published this year, Brook’s latest work is a pioneering exploration of four cities where East meets West and past becomes future: St. Petersburg, Shanghai, Mumbai, and Dubai. Brook is also the author of The Trap and a journalist whose work has appeared in publications including Harper’s, The Nation, and Slate. A New York native, Brook lives in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Copies of A History of Future Cities will be available for purchase at the event for $27.95. Next City can accept payment by cash or credit card.
