2012 Association of Architecture Organizations Conference: Connecting People and Place

AAO convenes the largest annual gathering for staff and volunteers of nonprofit architectural organizations and other interested individuals devoted to enhancing public dialogue about architecture and design – those groups that organize public lectures and architecture exhibitions, festivals and tours, and more.

Wednesday, November 7, 2012 – Friday, November 9, 2012

For three days this November, the Association of Architecture Organizations will bring together the largest gathering of leaders and educators from architectural organizations dedicated to enhancing public dialogue about architecture and design. Thought-provoking presentations, networking events, skills-building opportunities, special access tours, and more – all set in the beautiful (and dare we say it, pedestrian friendly!) Dallas Arts District.

We’ll explore universal issues of connectivity at multiple levels, from urban spaces that literally connect people, to public engagement initiatives that help shape future built forms, to connections and collaborations among architectural organizations and the audiences they reach. It promises to be a lively discussion – one that will inform your views on design and how your organization can better accomplish its daily mission. That’s the power of the AAO membership network.

Location

Nasher Sculpture Center
2001 Flora Street
