Last month, Next American City hosted our second-annual Open Cities conference, during which new media experts, tech professionals, government workers and engaged citizens got together to discuss how technology and open data can enhance urban life. Now, we need your help to envision what the open city truly looks like. Our partners at Latitude have created a brief survey that will help us set the agenda as we encourage cities to open data and use apps and software to enhance services. If you opt to include your name, we might use your thoughts in the March issue of Next American City. And every participant will be eligible to win one of three free, year-long subscriptions to Next American City; we’ll also be giving away 10 t-shirts to randomly selected participants.

Questions cover local governance, civic engagement, transportation and media – you can choose to respond to topics most interesting to you.

Visit www.opencities2010.org to take the survey now.

Thank you!
