Research to Practice: Building Scholarship Critical to Building a Sustainable Urban Future

Please join the Penn Institute for Urban Research, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, UN-Habitat’s World Urban Campaign, and Next City for an interactive discussion on the role research plays in understanding present challenges of urban development and in developing on the ground innovations for urban resilience and equity. This discussion, along with four other session on urban innovations set to take place around the country in the coming weeks, will help prepare the U.S. delegation to the World Urban Forum 7 in Medellín, Colombia, April 5 -11, 2014.
